The second Sahar International Short Film Festival, at Gallery Oldham. Festival director Mandana Ansari is in the centre, with Niki Mandegar, who won a best child actor award for Mandana's own film, Lonely Continent, surrounded by other audience members.
MOVIE buffs were able to enjoy films from all across the world.
The second Sahar International Short Film Festival took place recently showcasing a myriad of international movies.
The festival was organised by Lees filmmaker Mandana Ansari, whose short film Lonely Continent also won an award on the day.
The film was shot in Oldham, London and Tehran, and is now available for viewing on Vimeo.
Martin Gleeson, who co-organised the festival, said: “We were pleased with the feedback we received from the audiences.
“We hope to build on the festival’s progress by attracting sponsors for next year’s event.”
