THESE Chadderton brothers will be household names by the end of the week.

Samuel and William Howard have just landed a part in BBC hit show “Peaky Blinders”.

The budding young actors, from Roachwood Close, will be playing the sons of John Shelby (actor Joe Cole) in this gangster family epic set in 1919 Birmingham, which starts on BBC 2 tonight.

Samuel (11) first auditioned for a Morrisons commercial at the age of five and since then has had various other jobs including a fast food commercial for KFC and Johnny Vegas’ comedy show “Little Crackers”, as well as walk-on parts in “Coronation Street”.

For William (8) this is his first acting break.

The duo have also successfully landed leading roles as brothers in the new BBC series of “Moving On”, alongside well-known actors Warren Brown and Amy Nuttall.

Proud dad Chris Howard (38), an accountant and welfare officer at Chadderton Park FC, said: “It’s great. It’s still surreal seeing them both on TV. We’re all big fans of’ Peaky Blinders’. There are quite a few relatives who watch it. They can’t wait for it to be on tonight.

“They both attend Mills Hill School, who have been very supportive of the boys while making sure their education isn’t affected. Myself and mum Katarine are so proud.”
