ENTERPRISING pupils at Royton and Crompton school have used their business brains to raise £875 for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.

Each year the school organises a mini enterprise day, giving year 10 pupils the chance to set up and run their own business for a day to sell products and services to other year groups.

Each team is given a starter fund which they can use to create their enterprise and grow it, with all the profits going to Dr Kershaw’s.

A hospice spokesman said: “We would like to thank everyone involved at Royton and Crompton for supporting the hospice for over 20 years now. Their dedication to our cause is outstanding.”
