Tony Lloyd - wants to be Greater Manchester mayor
FORMER MP Tony Lloyd has announced he hopes to run as Labour candidate for Mayor of Greater Manchester.
Mr Lloyd is the police and crime commissioner, and was the choice of interim by the leaders of the 10 Greater Manchester councils ahead of elections next year.
Lloyd has represented communities across Greater Manchester for over 30 years in local government and Parliament.
“I want to make sure the voice of Greater Manchester is heard loud and clear by Government,” he said. “
