Pensioner’s lewd act in front of mums

AN elderly man who exposed himself to a group of women said he was “satisfying a need”.

Oldham magistrates heard yesterday that David Chantler-Walker (67) began masturbating while naked at the window of his flat in Parkway, Chadderton, in front of mothers who had just dropped their children at school.

When interviewed by police he admitted the offence. The court heard he has five five convictions for the same offence and committed the recent one in December when he was still subject to a community order.

Magistrates adjourned the case until February 12 for a pre-sentencing report.
