TWO men wearing balaclavas stormed a KFC restaurant, threatened terrified staff with a samurai sword and made off with cash.
Oldham customers and employees were left in shock after the two thugs ran into the Huddersfield Road KFC on January 13 brandishing the weapon.
One of the two robbers jumped over the counter and threatened the manager and staff with the sword until they opened the till. They stole a significant amount of cash before fleeing the building and making off in a blue Peugeot.
A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) spokesperson said: “We are seeking witnesses and any information that can help us.”
Call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555 111.
