Identity of train victim still unknown

A person died after being hit by a train in Moston on Friday.
Ambulances and police rushed to Moston train station in Hollinwood Avenue in the early afternoon but the victim - whose age and gender have not been released - was pronounced dead.
Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) are working to identity the person and inform the family.
Rail services on the Manchester to Leeds line and those running between Manchester Victoria and Rochdale were affected for around two hours.
