All for a Wizard cause

OLDHAM-based motorcycle club Road Wizards has raised £10,000 for Blesma, the charity that helps military service personnel who have lost limbs.
The club raised the money through fundraising events this year including the club’s annual bike show, Halloween parties, a raffle and a 10k run.
Blesma was chosen as a beneficiary charity when club secretary Sharon McDaid met a double amputee member through her husband Ozzy.
Sharon said: “Road Wizards was looking at a new charity to raise money for so I put Blesma forward.
“The club all agreed Blesma was a very worthy charity and I’d like to thank the club chairman, vice chairman, secretary, treasurer, committee, and all Road Wizards members without whom we could not have raised this money.”
