Body found on remote track

Dovestone Reservoir
POLICE are trying to identify a man found dead near Dovestone Reservoir on Saturday.
The body was found on the Chew track leading from Dovestone Reservoir to Indian’s Head.
The man carried no identification. Police are appealing for information.
The body had no obvious injuries or marks and currently police don’t believe the death is suspicious.
The man is white, of slim build, has a receding hairline and grey hair at the sides and back, a large nose possibly previously broken, and clean shaven. He was wearing a heavy brown jacket, a blue jumper, a white long-sleeved shirt, blue corduroy trousers and black slip-on shoes.
Detective Sergeant John Coleman said: “He was last seen at around 4.30pm on Friday, on the track near where he was found. He had money and three train tickets, one from Ealing train station to London Euston, bought at 9.10am that day. The other tickets were returns from Euston to Piccadilly bought the same day. We don’t know if the man is local or a visitor to the area.”
