Arson probe as fire rips through caravan

THE smouldering caravan
A FIRE that tore through a caravan in Scouthead yesterday is being treated as arson.
Crews from Chadderton and Mossley attended the blaze at Brighton Road shortly after 12.40pm.
Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control but the caravan, which was on a driveway, was destroyed.
Canisters containing propane and butane gas nearby were made safe. No-one was injured. An investigation is underway.
