The candidates speak: John Bickley, UKIP

Oldham West and Royton By Election UKIP Candidate John Bickley
Labour has been ruling the roost for 70 years. After all that time in charge, wages are the lowest in the North-West, immigration the highest and crime has risen 30 per cent since 2011.
Labour and its council are doing very nicely thank you, with the Labour candidate pulling £81,000 in allowances (four times the average Oldham wage) while his chief exec earns more than the prime minister (£163,000). There are 20+people on over £100,000 & 150+ on £50,000+, all paid for by you.
UKIP wants to see immigration controlled with an Australian-type points based system, social housing prioritised for local people, an end to health tourism, massive cuts to foreign aid and the NHS kept free at the point of delivery.
We need to stop giving the EU £55million each day and leave the EU so our laws can be made by Parliament again, so that your elected MP is accountable to you and not their party.
The Labour candidate needs to explain why he thinks that anyone in Oldham who votes for UKIP is a “reject”. Given that thousands of Labour voters are doing just that his opinion of them is disgusting.
Labour has been in power too long and has taken your vote for granted. Their lunatic leadership seems more interested in being friends with terrorist groups than defending you and our country. They’re a clear and present danger and it’s time for them to go. UKIP Backs Britain.
Please back me tomorrow. Thank you.
