Poor Sheba’s begging for a new home

Date published: 02 December 2015

CHRISTMAS isn’t looking too twinkly for homeless hound Sheba.

The five year old has been pining for her late owner and is now being cared for by Animal Rescue Oldham - which is keen to help make her Christmas wish to find a new home come true.

Sanctuary founder and chairman Rod Smith said Sheba has had a difficult time and needs someone to love and care for her.

“Sheba was put in our kennels while her owner moved into sheltered accommodation and the idea was she’d join him in a few days. Sadly he died a couple of days after moving in, so unfortunately she is now homeless.

“She’s been looked after very well and had a good home so kennels aren’t suiting her at all. She’d make a great companion for someone more mature, with plenty of time to look after her.”
