ANGELIC: l-r Ben Slater, Polly Balmforth-Beever and Kavanagh Warner sing for St Joseph's RC primary school at the Kershaw’s concert.
CAROL singers were in fine voice as festive favourites heralded in Christmas.
The pews were packed at Oldham Parish Church as Dr Kershaw’s Hospice held its annual concert with songs including “Jingle Bells” and a rousing “Oh Come All Ye Faithful”.
Special guests contributing to the evening of heartwarming carols included pupils from St Joseph’s School, Shaw, ukulele group Uke Too, Kershaw’s Crooners and Hope Singers.
Compere was Peter Wakefield with Mirriam Lawton and Elle Skinner, the winner of St Joseph’s School’s “Joey’s Got Talent” competition, also performing. Hospice chaplain Miles Howarth gave a bible reading and prayers.
