A TALENTED beauty therapist has been plucked for a prestigious national award after scooping a regional accolade.

Lauren Speakman (28), a senior beautician at The Face and Body Shop, Grotton, was named Guinot’s Regional Therapist of the Year and is now looking to clinch the ultimate title in January.

Lauren, from New Moston, who has worked at the Oldham Road beauty outlet since 2010, was assessed by Guinot experts and endorsed by customer testimonials for the award.

She and the rest of The Fab Salon team are heading down to London in the new year to find out whether she will be crowned UK therapist of the year.

Salon manager Lisa McGuinness said Lauren’s passion and attention to detail is incredible and she puts her all into everything she does.
