Driver critical

A MAN is in critical condition after a grey Peugeot 206 and a red VW Fox collided in Manchester Road, Mossley late last night.
The Peugeot driver suffered a fractured skull, pelvic injuries and serious internal injuries, and the road was closed as firefighters cut him free. He was rushed to Manchester Royal Infirmary.
The VW driver escaped injury.
