Woman disturbs masked raiders

MASKED raiders with metal bars confronted a terrified woman as she returned home with her two children.

The 42-year-old woman noticed her door was open as she got back home and once inside, three men bundled past her and ran off towards St John Street. Three rings — two silver and one gold — were taken.

The first man is 6ft tall, of medium build and was wearing a balaclava and a black tracksuit. The second man is in his early 20s, between 5ft 4in and 5ft 5in tall, chubby, and wore a ski mask. The third man is 5ft 7in tall with a round face and was wearing a grey tracksuit. The raid was at around 4pm on September 21.
