14 arrests in crackdown

A CRACKDOWN on wanted criminals in Oldham resulted in 14 arrests yesterday.
People were arrested for offences ranging from domestic assault and breach of bail to burglary and recall to prison. Operation Olympus saw 52 arrests across Greater Manchester.
Insp Paul Walker, of the Oldham Division, said: “This operation has targeted criminals who cause harm to innocent members of the community. This sends a clear message that we will use every resource available to find them.”
