Jewellery raider pleads guilty

A 25-YEAR-OLD man admitted his part in a raid on a Glodwick jewellery shop with a sledgehammer, battering ram and imitation gun on April 28.
Sohbar Khan pleased guilty at Manchester Crown Court to attempted robbery and possession of a firearm as one of a trio of masked raiders who stormed Romaze Jewellers in Latimer Street.
The robbery was foiled when a group of passers-by gave chase and caught one of them. Officers arrived to arrested.
After the raid a video appeared online of Khan pouring with blood while being kicked by the people who caught him. The video was seen on Facebook more than 80,000 times.
Khan will be sentenced at a later date.
