A 27-YEAR-OLD man is in hospital with serious leg and hip injuries after being pinned between a car and a garage.
He had to be freed by firefighters as he became stuck in Ashes Lane, Springhead, at around 11pm on Friday. It is believed a fault caused the car to roll forwards and trap the man. Details haven’t been confirmed. Part of the garage wall collapsed in the collision.
Fire crews from Oldham, Chadderton and Ashton spent an hour and 45 minutes freeing the victim and securing the garage wall. An investigation is underway.
