Seven held over armed robbery

A MAN has been charged and six others bailed following raids across Oldham on Wednesday.
Police seized cars, cash, drugs and weapons in the operation, which followed an armed robbery in Glodwick.
Ibrahim Ashraf (31) of Edward Street, Moston, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and remanded in custody. A 30-year-old woman, arrested on suspicion of money laundering and possession of controlled drugs, has been bailed along with a 43-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of robbery, money laundering and possession with intent to supply.
Four other men aged from 32-43, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been bailed.
Officers from the Oldham Organised Crime Unit executed 10 warrants at addresses in Oldham and Ashton-under-Lyne. They also seized three high-value cars, £10,000 cash, drugs worth around £3,000 and weapons.
