Judith completes trilogy

A FORMER Saddleworth School student has released the eagerly awaited final instalment of her “‘Pattern of Shadows” trilogy.

Judith Barrow, who grew up in Greenfield, lived in Delph before moving to Pembrokeshire when her first child was young.

Family life changed she was diagnosed with breast cancer almost two decades ago - and she decided to start doing what she wanted to do - write.

She’s now the author of three novels and other works, and “Living in the Shadows” is the final instalment of her “Pattern of Shadows” trilogy.

Set in 1969, it follows Linda Booth, a nurse who works in the maternity ward of her local hospital in Lancashire.

The novel is published by Honno and available in book shops.
