Woman stabbed

A WOMAN was taken to Oldham hospital after being stabbed in the shoulder last night.
Police were called to Byron Walk, Royton, shortly after 7.30pm, where a 39-year-old woman was found with an injury on her left shoulder blade. The injuries are not thought to be serious. A man was arrested on suspicion of a section 18 assault and remains in custody.
