A MAN has been charged with the murder of Oldhamer Terry Taylor, who was found with serious injuries at a hotel in Cumbria.

Cumbria Police confirmed Michael Sanderson, of Arkleby, Wigton, has been charged with murder.

Mr Taylor (59) was a married father-of-three and grandfather-of-two. He was found after police were called to the Globe Hotel in Cockermouth on Sunday.

His family issued a statement saying he’ll be greatly missed.

The 30-year-old appeared at West Allerdale Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
