BGT hopeful dreams of fairytale ending

IT’S been a fairytale adventure for Chadderton’s very own Snow White, Enola Dyer.

The raven-haired warbler performs in the final round of ITV’s “Britain’s Got Talent” live semi-finals tonight with girl group Misstasia.

The four-piece band, who put their own twist on Disney songs, wowed judges during their audition and they’ve since appeared on ITV’s “This Morning” thanks to their “fairy godmother” - judge Amanda Holden.

Amanda described Enola as “the Snow White of the band” due to her dark hair and perfect complexion.

She gave them a “princess sparkly yes” after their rendition of The Little Mermaid’s “Part of That World”.

Enola (24) and her pals Rosie Hale, Katie Lawrence and Georgie Jackson are hoping Amanda will cast a spell on villain and fellow judge Simon Cowell who, following their performance, said: “You’ve either come up with a really good idea or you’ll be the most annoying girl group in history.”

Enola, a media and performing arts graduate, has been busy rehearsing for tonight and hopes her home town will back their bid for a place in Sunday’s final.

“It’s been amazing and overwhelming since our audition and we’re working hard on a couple of different Disney songs for the semi-final,” said Enola, who works front of house at Manchester’s Palace Theatre and as a children’s party performer.

“To get through to the semi-finals was incredible. Hopefully we’ll get a lot of votes on the night, particularly from people in Oldham.”
