Seven face child-sex charges

SEVEN people — including four Oldhamers — were to appear before Bury Magistrates’ Court today following an investigation into child sexual exploitation.
Bilal Ahmed (26), of Tentercroft, Coldhurst, has been charged with conspiracy to have sex with a girl aged 15 or under, four counts of child abduction, penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged under 15 and sexual activity likewise.
Dilon Rasul (23), Mohammed Suleman (47) both of Worsley Street, Glodwick, and Robbie Verbruggen (28), of Tentercroft, Coldhurst, have been charged with conspiracy to engage in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13-15.
Jubair Rahman (23), of Rochdale, has been charged with engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child, child abduction and arranging a child sex offence.
Hassan Ali (20), of no fixed abode, has been charged with conspiracy to engage in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13-15 and four counts of child abduction.
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with conspiracy to engage in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13-15.
A 29-year-old man has been released without charge.
