Gallery at home!
Date published: 16 September 2010
OPEN HOUSE . . . Judith Garside with some of the art on display.
A HIGH Crompton artist transformed her home into a gallery in a bid to raise money for a good cause.
Judith Garside, of Sherwood Way, invited art lovers to visit her home and browse paintings created by her and fellow creative types from the Royton Art Group.
The group meets every Friday at Downey House in Royton where tutor Jack Gray helps them improve their technique.
Hair salons Upper Kutz in Shaw and Razz and Co in Royton donated vouchers for a raffle and the event made £579 for the British Lung Foundation.
