Detectives investigating the death of a woman in Oldham have arrested two men on suspicion of murder and detained a third under the Mental Health Act.
The body of Corinne Hayes (23) was discovered in a flat on Cherry Avenue, on the Alt estate, in the early hours of Saturday.
Two men, both 28, have since been released under investigation, while a 33-year-old man has been detained under the Mental Health Act.
Senior officers urged people to come forward with new information.
The appeal came as tributes were paid to Corinne, a support worker who was a godmother to three children.
Sister Gemma said: "Corinne was a beautiful, bright, clever, strong-minded woman who went out of her way for anyone. Corinne was very popular and will be missed by many."
Scores of people paid tribute to her on Facebook.
One friend wrote: "You were a lovely lady. Always smiling and having fun.
Jessica Smith posted: "You were a force to be reckoned with, rest in peace. My thoughts are with your friends and family."
