FITNESS fans held a boot-camp contest to support the families of Oldham women Alison Howe and Lisa Lees, who lost their lives in the Manchester Arena bomb attack.
The Glo Gym based at Oldham Athletic hosted the outdoor fitness session on Saturday, with members and non-members alike getting involved.
People were split into four teams, led by four gym instructors, and competed across a range of exercises. Proceeds were raised from sales of tickets and food, which was donated by local businesses, along with a raffle.
Gym instructor Laura Marinelli said: "The arena attack was unbelievably tragic and the effects have been so hard for everyone, especially the families involved.
"However the support of the community, in coming together to show their support, has been amazing. The boot camp was an act of solidarity and joy, in remembrance of the local women who loved to get involved in our Glo Gym classes and have a good time
Proceeds from Saturday's event will be donated to support Alison and Lisa's families."
