A PLANNED strike by First Manchester bus drivers next week has been called off.
All First Manchester services will run as per the timetable on Monday and Tuesday.
Unite the trade union is recommending a new offer to drivers from First Manchester, which will see a pay increase for bus drivers at two of its depots.
Phil Medlicott, Managing Director at First Manchester, said: "We are pleased to have reached an agreement with the trade union today, as strike action would have had a huge impact on our customers who rely on our services every day.
"Our bus drivers do a fantastic job and we are happy to provide a pay increase that rewards their hard work and support for the business."
