Police make arrests

FURTHER arrests have been made as police continue their investigations into the Manchester Arena blast.
A 24-year-old man was arrested in Rusholme on suspicion of offences contrary to the terrorism act, as part of the investigation on Friday night.
Late on Saturday night a 20-year-old man was arrested on Cheetham Hill Road on suspicion of offences contrary to the terrorism act.
Yesterday morning officers also executed a warrant at a house in Princess Road, Moss Side.
Over the weekend a 23-year-old man was released without charge.
The arrest on Friday night came after police officers seized a white Nissan Micra in Rusholme which they said could provide a "significant development" in the investigation.
A 100-metre cordon was put in place around the Banff Road area and an evacuation was under way, police said on Friday. Hundreds were evacuated in the area surrounding the car park of Devell House.
Residents were allowed to return to their homes shortly after 5.30pm.
