Police appeal after man hurt on M60

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was left in critical condition following a collision on the M60 on Sunday afternoon.
The 20-year-old man was involved in a collision with a car on Rochdale Road, underneath junction 20 of the M60 clockwise shortly before 4.15pm.
The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
There was police contact with the man prior to the collision, and it has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission in line with standard procedure.
Sergeant Lee Westhead of GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Our enquiries are ongoing and we would like to hear from anyone who saw the man crossing the motorway or may have seen something around Rochdale Road.
"If anyone has dash-cam footage around this time that could help with the investigation, please get in touch."
