YOUNG superheroes across Oldham donned capes and masks and flew into action to help raise much needed funds during the annual Key 103 Cash for Kids Superhero day.
Children dressed as Superman, Wonder Woman and Captain America and took part in special school assemblies to raise funds for two charities - Cash for Kids and When You Wish Upon a Star.
Schools were also joined by members of Greater Manchester Police, who were supporting the event, and officers joined in the fancy dress fun when they visited schoolchildren on the day.
More than £80,000 was raised during this year's event.
