OLDHAM firefighters attended several incidents last night as they dealt with car and rubbish fires.
At about 1am fire crews were called to Eldon Street estate to a car fire.
The fire spread to two other cars which were parked either side of it and it took one pump about an hour and a half to make the scene safe.
Later on, at 5am, they attended a camper van fire on Turf Pit Lane, Moorside. Two pumps attended and the blaze was quelled in 45 minutes.
Warning
There were no injuries and the fires are being treated as suspicious.
They also issued a warning about people burning fly-tipped rubbish after they attended Falmouth Street in Oldham for the second night running to put out someone's waste which was set alight.
They are urging people not to fly-tip and not to burn rubbish as it ties up their resources.
