THE car is driven away after the incident
SHOCKING video footage shows the moment a car being erratically driven ploughed into several parked cars on Saturday night.
Ugonma Husselbury told the Chronicle that she was asleep at the time the incident happened on Stamford Road, Lees, at around 5.30am.
She said: "I heard a really loud bang. It sounded like a massive wagon.
"I went to the window and one of the neighbours' cars was on the pavement. I couldn't figure out what had gone on.
"I went outside and saw someone had crashed into the cars. Luckily one of the neighbours had CCTV. Two cars have been written off. Another one has had about £1,000 worth of damage to it."
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said they received a call shortly before 5.45am on Saturday to reports of a fail-to-stop collision and that enquiries are ongoing.
