THE Whitebank stadium
OLDHAM RLFC has been targeted by raiders twice in the space of 48 hours.
The club is offering a reward for any information that leads to the arrest of the offenders.
Thieves smashed their way into the club's Whitebank office overnight stealing several hundred pounds worth of items.
Computers, radios, wines and spirits were among items taken in the first raid on Wednesday.
A police probe is underway after thugs again broke into the club on Friday night.
In this latest incident they stole players' kit and leisure wear. They also caused damage breaking into the referees' changing room.
Club chairman Chris Hamilton said: "I'm sick of it - to the back teeth."
Fans and residents described the incident as "shocking" while others called for the club to move out of Whitebank.
Targeted
The ground has been targeted on several occasions since Roughyeds moved into Whitebank in 2010.
The club in Limehurst Village was previously broken into in 2010 when thieves made off with tools.
In May 2013 a toilet cabin was set ablaze at the stadium costing the club more than £1,000.
Gareth John Hughes, from Oldham, said: "It's just going to continue, mark my words. Time to get out now. Surely this is the straw that breaks the camels back?
"We can't afford to keep losing property and kit like this. Horrible gits who keep doing this. Surely someone must have an idea who these toe-rags are. Shocking."
While Richard Whatmough, from Epsom, said: "Time to get out of Whitebank."
Telephone contact with the club was unavailable over the Easter weekend but normal service was resumed by today.
Fans can email the club at enquiries@roughyeds.co.uk.
