Teen cyclist injured in car collision

A TEENAGE boy is in a stable condition following a collision in Middleton.
At about 11.45am on Monday, April 3, a blue Volvo lorry was heading towards Manchester on Heywood Old Road when it was involved in a collision with a cyclist at the junction of Langley Lane.
The 13-year-old boy was taken to the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital with serious head injuries where he is in a stable condition.
