STUDENTS have been picking up tips on everything from CV writing to making the right contacts at an employability week at University Campus Oldham.
The packed programme of activities for final year students aims to make sure they have the best possible chance of getting a job when they graduate in the summer.
It started on Monday and has included workshops on CV writing, networking, interviews and job applications, as well as the chance to meet local employers, apply for jobs and find out more about volunteering.
The week also featured mental health workshops with Oldham's MH:2K project, which is supported by organisations such as Wellcome Trust, Oldham Council and Oldham Clinical Commissioning Group.
And they could find out more about the issue of female genital mutilation - aimed particularly at those who will be working in the education and social care sectors.
Experts taking part in the employability week included UCO lecturers and staff from Mahdlo, Together Trust, Museum of Science and Industry and Positive Steps.
UCO head Helen Mathers said: "Specialist careers help and advice is part of the student experience at UCO.
"Employability Week offers even more support for our students and will help them find their dream job after graduation."
