'HORRIBLE Histories' stars turned out to a Springhead school for a day of Viking antics.
Year 4 pupils at Knowsley Junior School in Stoneleigh Road dressed as Vikings and took part in a day of activities.
Portals to the Past, a team of educators, archaeologists and stars of the BBS production 'Horrible Histories,' led the workshop.
Culture
Pupils heard an introductory talk on Viking life and culture, took part in a quiz and learned about home life and artefacts dating back to the late eighth century.
They also played Viking board games, watched a demonstration of weapons and armour and took part in Viking spear wrestling.
