VANDALS targeted the new Odeon town hall cinema complex just months after it opened.
One of the windows at the front of the refurbished town hall by Costa remains fractured after someone hurled a brick into it before Christmas.
The force of the impact bent the glass inwards and saw it split in several directions stretching towards all four sides of the windowpane.
The act of vandalism comes as a blow since the new town hall, a £37 million redevelopment project, opened in October.
It is the first cinema in Oldham town centre for over 30 years and the redevelopment of the Grade II listed building, which was named in Britain's top ten most endangered buildings in 2009, also featured a restaurant complex.
Despite being redeveloped, efforts to keep the building's heritage were carried out and included the preservation of a magistrates' court room that was converted into a screen whilst retaining its original design.
