LABOUR councillor Colin McLaren raised anti-social behaviour issues at Freehold tram stop.
He asked what measures are being taken by the council and Greater Manchester Police to resolve the problems.
Labour councillor Fida Hussain responded: "A lot of work has gone into this area. Staff from Metrolink are working with the council, police and Transport for Greater Manchester.
"Action will be taken against anyone identified in anti-social behaviour."
