TEENAGERS have been arrested in the aftermath of a spate of burglaries in Shaw last month.
A 16-year-old and two 17-year-old boys as well as an adult man were taken into custody in the police operation led by Sergeant Laura Nield.
Each of the individuals were detained on suspicion of burglary in connection with thefts at vapour shop Fog Fusion and Tesco Express, both in Market Street, and Electric Beach Tanning salon, in Princess Street.
A spokesman on behalf of the policing team said: "There have been several minor break-ins where front windows were smashed, float money was stolen from tills and also shoplifting. CCTV footage was key in bringing about these arrests. Criminal behaviour orders have been handed out. Investigations are still ongoing."
The teens and adult male, whose age is not known, were taken into custody on Tuesday morning.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team who assisted in the apprehensions said: "They are being questioned about the above crimes as well as shoplifting, theft and breaches of criminal behaviour orders."
