Micro fire

RESIDENTS at a Springhead property had a near miss after setting their food alight in a microwave.

Firefighters were called to Davids Lane at 10pm last night where a bowl of food had accidentally been microwaved for 90 minutes rather than 90 seconds.

Crews used fans to clear the area of smoke.
