Fan suffers heart attack

SUPPORTERS came to the aid of a Latics fan who suffered a heart attack during Saturday's clash with AFC Wimbledon at SportsDirect.com Park.
Fans in the Family and Community section of the Jimmy Frizzell Rochdale Road Stand rushed to help Tony Hall after he collapsed during half-time, giving him life-saving CPR.
He is in intensive care in a critical but stable condition.
His son Sam Hall said: "My dad received CPR and care from fans, St John Ambulance and other members of the public. We cannot thank everyone enough for saving his life."
Oldham Athletic said: "The thoughts and prayers of Oldham Athletic are with the fan taken ill in the Family and Community section of the Jimmy Frizzell Stand."
