Wanted sex offender arrested

A WANTED sex offender who was spotted in Oldham has been arrested.
Lancashire Police were searching for Francis Doherty (63) for more than two weeks after he allegedly breached his licence conditions.
Doherty, who is also known as Frank, was jailed for three years in 2005 after being convicted of two sex assaults.
He was pictured on CCTV at around 9.10am on Tuesday, October 18, at Santander Bank in George Street, Oldham, and was believed to have been sleeping rough in the area.
But on Friday, police confirmed he had been found in Bury.
