Boy, 15, held in stab probe

A TEENAGER has been arrested after a man was stabbed five times outside his home.
As reported in the Chronicle, the 23-year-old victim, who has not yet been named, was stabbed in the back and abdomen during the attack shortly before 11.30pm last Saturday outside his home on Hollins Road.
The man walked out of his home to speak to five hooded males when an argument broke out and he was subsequently stabbed once in the back and four times in the abdomen.
The man was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Yesterday, police arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
