Selfish . . .

PARKING on double yellow lines is not permitted ­- so the driver of this car decided to park on the pavement instead.

This thoughtless driver's actions forced a pedestrian to walk around the car and on Union Street to get past.

The Chronicle has previously highlighted the problem of selfish motorists in Oldham who have either obstructed pavements or parked on tram lines in the town centre.
