SHORTLISTED finalists for the 2017 Oldham Business Awards have been invited to a reception tomorrow evening at Derker-based Innovative Technology.
Guests will have the chance to meet other awards finalists, organisers and sponsors at the reception which starts at 5.30pm.
Innovative Technology is one of the major sponsors of the Oldham Business Awards, along with Nat West, Web Applications, the Stoller Charitable Trust and Oldham Council.
Dayna Patterson, the firm's head of marketing, will be among the hosts at tomorrow night's reception.
The finalists were shortlisted by judging panels consisting of representatives of NatWest, sponsors and volunteers from the awards steering group.
Each judging panel drew up their shortlist from all entries that were nominated for each category. Each panel then carried out workplace visits to the shortlisted finalists and find out more about their businesses.
The visits were a new addition to the awards judging process and are designed to boost networking and advisory opportunities, raise understanding of the awards and provide benefits to all the shortlisted finalists, regardless of whether or not they become overall winners.
The final winners for each category will be unveiled at the black-tie awards dinner and ceremony at Queen Elizabeth Hallon Friday, May 12.
Finalists and sponsors will be contacted by organisers about their ticket allocations. Tickets are also available to purchase at the official website at www.oldhambusinessawards.co.uk.
The website includes details on ticket arrangements for finalists, sponsors, group and individual bookings.
