A CATERING equipment specialist has won a top industry award from a European manufacturer.

Normanton Catering Technicians, in Shaw, serves industry customers including restaurant chains, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, schools and coffee shops.

It has been named Service Partner of the Year by German-based manufacturer Rational, which makes professional kitchen, restaurant and canteen equipment. The Shaw firm is the longest-appointed service-and-spares partner for Rational in the UK, having worked with the British division for over 28 years.

Director Lisa Normanton said: "This is a huge achievement because there are over 45 Rational service partners in the UK. We have won a number of awards over the years, including an Oldham Business Award in 2014, and been named Service Partner of the Year a number of times."
