Decade of success for PR director
A PUBLIC relations specialist will celebrate ten years in business at a networking event tomorrow evening at Oldham's George Street Chapel.
Bridget Batty, director of Limetree Public Relations, will screen a film about the PR firm's development at the latest meeting of Professional Oldham.
She will greet guests on arrival at the Grade-1 listed former chapel, which is now an events and heritage centre, alongside other organisers of Professional Oldham.
Tomorrow's event starts at 6pm. After a glass of fizz, guests will shown around the former independent methodist chapel, which includes a restored former Sunday school room and basement dwellings. They will also be looking for clues to a Limetree treasure hunt along the way, featuring objects illustrating the variety of work undertaken by the PR firm over the years.
The tour will be followed by a short Limetree presentation including the film, a warm supper and informal networking.
Professional Oldham has been launched by Robbie MacDonald of Oldham Business Edge and the Oldham Evening Chronicle, Suzanne Wright of Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers, Bridget Batty of Limetree Public Relations, Stephanie Doherty of Caremark Oldham and Angela Higham of Dr Kershaw's Hospice.
