Choir concert

SADDLEWORTH Male Voice Choir is holding a concert tomorrow, from 7.30pm, at St Margaret’s Church, Hollinwood.

UPPERMILL Parish Centre is holding a coffee morning next Wednesday to raise funds for the Chasing Rainbows charity in memory of PC Nicola Hughes. The event will take place at the centre, in Lee Street, Uppermill, from 7.30pm-9pm.
THE Pennine Model Railway exhibition takes place at Saddleworth Museum this Saturday and Sunday, from 10am-4pm. Admission is £2.50 for adults and children get in free.
ST ANNE’S Church, Lydgate, is holding a flea market at Uppermill Civic Hall on Sunday, June 28, from 10am-3pm. Entry is 50p. To book a stall contact Kath on 0161-624 1905.
THE new Denshaw Table Tennis Club are looking for players.
Mondays between 6-8pm serious players interested in seeing Denshaw enter into a league competition are invited.
On Thursdays, between 7.30-8.30pm there will be training for youngsters.

ANYONE aged 50 or over is invited to join Age UK for a scenic stroll every Tuesday afternoon from 2pm.
The dementia friendly strolls will take place in Uppermill with the group meeting at the side of Warburton Court, just off Uppermill High Street, and take a short route finishing back at Warburton Court.
